With the help of their members, PermissionResearch gathers data and analyzes digital content trends and patterns so that companies can decide what type of programming, advertising, and online content to offer. Additionally, members can also influence the development of offline products and service.
Participants in this research community are required to install software on their computers that monitors Internet activity in the background – it is unobtrusive, and you won’t even realize that the software is working behind the scenes. This type of monitoring allows PermissionResearch to get a glimpse of how they use the Internet and there is nothing special for you to do other than surf as usual! Television viewing habits are also recorded through a special authorization from your service provider that allows PermissionResearch to collect data such as programs viewed, amount of time watched, demand programming usage and more. Members also have a chance to participate in occasional online surveys that are administered to help companies understand the member’s attitudes and interests on a wide variety of topics. The data collected through Internet and television monitoring or online surveys are never used to identify you specifically. Instead, your data is merged with a larger pool of people to create a general report.

There are many benefits to being a member of PermissionResearch beyond sharing important information. Each and every month, one winner will be chosen to win $100 and will have the chance to win $2500, $5000, or even $100,000. Earn one entry for joining and then extra entries for each friend or family member you refer who also joins PermissionResearch. Another incentive, called ‘PermissionRewards,’ allows members to earn points redeemable for exciting prizes for completing eligible surveys or other offers. Save up points and then exchange for valuable rewards like gift cards, electronics, and home appliances. A unique element of PermissionResearch is the ‘Trees for Knowledge’ program where actual live trees are planed for the benefit of less-fortunate communities around the world. All you need to do to get a tree planted on your behalf is just join PermissionResearch; you’ll be improving the future of the Internet and the environment!

  2. Hello, My name is Norma (chefmom1@cox.net) thank You for sharing your guide I really enjoyed reading it and what you said made akot of since and alot of it I am already doing and what I am not doing I am getting ready to do. But I have two questions if you don’t mind and I would love for you to be totally honest with me. I have been taking surveys for almost a year now and have not received one red cent!! I am 61 years of age but I do not look it nor do I act like a 61 year old. Most of the surveys tell me “sorry you do not quality” I have taken as many as 12 at one time trying to eventually get one that i could take and i never could find one. So my questions are: is my age a problem? and what am I doing wrong. ? I took a 4 day survey about what we ate and I was suppose to get 25.00 for that ,that was 2 months or more, I have seen nothing. Can you please tell me what to do do make it profitable for me or else I am just about ready to give up. Thank You so much for you help, Norma

    • Hey Norma, you have asked a very good question. To be honest with you I don’t have a great answer right now because I don’t know how many surveys other demographics might qualify for other then my own. Being in my mid 30s I haven’t had an issue qualifying for paid online surveys however I do know that some demographics do qualify for more surveys then others. I have a friend who owns a Market Research company who I will be talking to next week. I will ask her about your situation and follow up with you after our conversation.

Also there are survey companies that are misleading so you have to be cautious. I only place sites on my site that I have reviewed and used that payout from taking legitimate surveys.
